Commerce
is the main driving force of Kenya’s new foreign policy, a
Ministry of Foreign Affairs draft working document says. Kenya’s
new “Look East” policy has enabled Kenya to forge bilateral
trade, economic and technological co-operation with vibrant economies
in South East Asia.

business executives association urged. In its policy recommendation,
