Can Build An Asean Architecture

In the middle of December, the ASEAN is scheduled to hold a summit
in Chiang Mai. Auspiciously, the Asean charter - the first comprehensive
treaty for the region now ratified by all Asean countries, will
come into force as the basic instrument to forge the regional architecture
for the 10 member states of Asean. In a sense, it will be the regional
constitution on which these countries will join hands increasingly
as their path to closer integration.
